If you are a newcomer to a decent gaming console or portable computer and want to play some of the most memorable games of all time - don't worry. We have selected a list of some of the amazing games to play. Explicit entries include GTA 5 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, but there is more.

The Best PC Games to Play Right Now

Additionally, PlayStation special games are slowly rolling out to PCs, with popular titles such as God of War and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection coming out of their original version. You can find some great PC games in some of our pieces below.

17 Must-Have Special PlayStation Games

Some of the topics mentioned in this list may require you to have a decent rig while some of them may apply to budget building. That being said, let’s take a look at the best PC games you should try once. We have listed the games we most enjoyed playing. There is no rating system here and all articles are listed alphabetically.

Age of Empires IV

Age of Empires IV is one of the best real-time strategy games (RTS) in recent times and brings some of the best of previous Age of Empire titles, most notably Age of Empires II. Developer Relic Entertainment returns players to their medieval history books, with different civilizations offering different skills. For example, playing like the Mongols will allow players to collect their city and move, in a real way. Similarly, Delhi Sultanate offers the ability to research development technologies, instead of resources incorporating scholars. Players can meet up to seven friends on PVE and PVP routes.

For gamers who have played previous games in the series, Age of Empires IV will provide a new world of strategy. The game does not deviate from its real, time-tested roots, however. While you start each game with local people collecting resources and working to establish your empire one building at a time, each game can have a very different outcome based on the strategy you chose in the beginning. Gamers can destroy enemy landmarks or capture all sacred sites - or the special Wonder building for 10 minutes - to win the game.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Assassin's Creed Valhalla uses an RPG formula that has been tried and tested from Assassin's Creed Origins and Assassin's Creed Odyssey and is tuned to perfection. After a few updates and improvements, the game has gradually become one of our favorite Viking theme titles we've played so far. Ubisoft is constantly updating the game, and with each increase, it brings new worlds and stories to explore.

While Assassin's Creed Valhalla is still a one-player RPG at heart, Ubisoft has been busy updating the game over the past few years, bringing unique events and features such as popular live service games like Fortnite or Call of Duty: Mobile. The game may be less demanding in terms of resources, especially on older computers and consoles, and seems to offer excellent performance on current Xbox consoles and PlayStation. After extensions like Wrath of the Druids and The Siege of Paris, Ubisoft will be releasing another one this year - making this a great time to jump into the game and try out the latest content.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Review: Higher Quality

Battlefield: Wrong Company 2

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is the final installment in the Wrong Company case. Bad Company 2 is widely regarded as the best game in the Battlefield series to date. The game was launched back in 2010 and is a direct series of Battlefield: Bad Company. The addition of multiplayer mode to this title was a welcome step and made the game, even more, stand out. The battlefield series is known for playing high-profile adrenaline and Evil Company 2 is able to bring all that through a decent storyline to get started.

The one-player campaign follows the story of a team of soldiers roaming around the world finding a nuclear bomb that could destroy the world in minutes. It’s a predictable story above but the play and a little twist in the story make it a great experience. Negative Company 2 interviews are also very well written with some air-free jokes in the midst of all the turmoil. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is also available for play on Xbox 360 and PS4 without a PC.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games have developed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 as the final chapter in the Modern War series. Modern War 3 begins well where Modern War 2 has left things in the lurch, with Captain Price and Gift playing a major role in Task Force 141. The hunt for Russian terrorist Vladimir Makarov continues in this installment as it threatens part of Europe. The game also brings new characters to the stage.

It’s hard to raise a bar already high enough with Call of Duty: Modern War 2, but Activision does a decent job of bringing this series to a satisfying conclusion - though, at the cost of living of the series’s favorites. Call of Duty: Modern Battle 3 was launched again in 2011 on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii. Despite many rumors, Activision has recently confirmed that Modern Warfare 3 will not receive a redesigned version - the first two installments are the only ones that will receive a revised version of this proverb.

Control

Possibly a strange Remedy game, Control gives the players control (pun intended) by Jesse Faden as he investigates the remnants of the Federal Bureau of Control headquarters. The plot of the game sounds unpleasant at first, but as you play you get a little understanding of the refreshingly unusual setting and take on the role against the central hero - Hiss.

One of the best parts about the game is Jesse's telekinetic power that can be used as a powerful weapon against enemies. Helping telekinesis is Jesse's main weapon - the Weapon of Service. It can also be changed by opening up various modes that change its personality from just a gun to a long-distance pseudo sniper. There are rumors of a series of controls - the subject of a major budget - but that will still take some hits on the shelves.

Doom Forever

The most recent title from the popular Doom franchise, Doom Eternal was released on March 20, 2020. Developed by id Software and published by Bethesda, the story of Doom Eternal is set sometime after the events of Mars from the previous game, when Earth he is even more tormented by demonic forces - destroying more than half of the world's population. The game has been hailed as one of the best first-person shooting campaigns from Bethesda.

Doom Eternal allows players to kill demons, unlock cheat codes, collect easter egg toys, and explore the post-apocalyptic Earth. Thanks to its regular run-and-gun play, Doom's latest title is one of the much-needed first-person shooting games, and nerve congestion is one of the most common causes of death in the game. Next to the PC, players can find Doom Eternal on the PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

Grand Theft Auto V

It has been nine years since GTA 5 was released, so why is it so popular in 2022? The sandbox action-adventure is available for play on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles, throwing players' heads over to what is widely regarded as the best theme in the series. Everything from advanced weapons and car grip to intelligent conversation between characters - the game sounds polished. With fake in-game ads that emanate sarcasm and excellent sound, even a random drive in the game sounds fun.

Unlike the old GTA games that frustrated gamers when the goal failed and made the player start in the first place, GTA 5 added test areas on the go, which ended up being a relief for many players. At the same time, users can be immersed in the most difficult tasks with the three main characters - Michael, Franklin, and Trevor - such as hijacking a plane, bank robbery, fighting the ruthless police, and so on. However, knowing how to use the special abilities of each character in the game can be very helpful.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy may be misleading if you go by the title of the game - the center of the action-adventure game of the famous Square Enix around Peter Quill aka Star-Lord. Just like the movies, the players will participate in a lot of funny battles and conversations with NPCs Gamora, Rocket, Groot, and Drax. Unfortunately, some of those chatter options can also affect which characters can help you in the game as you progress, so it's best to take a balanced approach.

Square Enix did an excellent job with Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, allowing each character's unique ability to be used by a commanding player. There are a lot of enemies to take on in this game, and with the right strategy, dealing with various opponents can be an easy task. And the game isn't just about battles - players will need to instruct characters like Drax or Rocket to perform specific actions to solve puzzles or unlock access to specific areas in the game.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy has been one of our favorite games since last year.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition

Mass Effect Legendary Edition combines all the trilogy into a single theme with dedicated launchers for each game. It includes Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3. Advanced Bioware Games have introduced years ago and that is why it needs a revised version before heading to next-generation game consoles with PC. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition brings improved visuals and player models, shadows, better effects, brightness, depth of depth, and more independent levels with more than 40 single-player campaigns and DLCs from all three titles. The game also brings a new model of customization to General Shepherd, different eye colors, enhanced hair details, and skin tones.

Mass Effect, the first, is still a fragile theme with confusing controls and weird design features, but the second and third parts of the title are more than just covering that up. Legendary Edition brings the day-to-day difference from the first version released back in 2007, and also brings 4K and 60fps gameplay to improve performance. The game allows you to choose sides, be one of the good guys (Paragon) or the worst team (Renegade). These choices are made based on how you deal with situations within the game and how you select your conversations with co-workers or enemies. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is also available on PC Game Pass.

Microsoft Flight Simulator

Microsoft Flight Simulator first appeared on PC in 2020 and on the Xbox Series S / X last year. The title is considered one of the best aircraft models available on the market. The game featured only up to 30 aircraft - from light aircraft to commercial jerseys - at the time of launch but that was enough for even the strongest aviation enthusiasts.

One of the most popular features of Microsoft Flight Simulator should be its real-world map. Even the atmosphere changes in real-time when airspeed and route, temperature, humidity, rainfall, and light play a vital role in the players' determination in their flight plans.

Red Dead Redemption 2

The story of Red Dead Redemption 2 was compiled in 1899, about the days of wild deaths in the west, with Arthur Morgan leading a gang of criminals into a safe haven, fleeing Federal agents and rich hunters at all times. The game is much bigger, wider, and full of twisting stories than its predecessor released in 2010. Red Dead Redemption 2 allows you to visit all the places and corners of this vast world. The main story clock comes in about 60 hours but the game always sounds endless, due to the sheer number of separate activities, each one full of fun than the last.

Red Dead Online is also another fun-filled sequel. Chasing off criminals, tracking criminals like rich hunters, building a business as a trader, and a number of other things to keep you on screen. Riding horses across the map is another fun thing to do - try not to fall off a cliff after losing control of your horse, because horses have permadeath in the game. Red Dead Redemption 2 was launched in October 2018 and has won 175 Game of the Year Awards.

Witch 3: Wild Hunting

Launched in 2015, Witcher 3: Wild Hunt received a 10-on-10 rating in Gadget Review 360. The role-playing game - developed by CD Projekt Red - has a huge, sometimes extremely good world for players to explore. The game turns out to be amazing as the choices a player has to make are not classified as good or bad - rather there is a variety of gray. There are plenty of machines to take part in, the best fights, the most fascinating narratives, and the best land available. The game was very well received, converted into a TV series available for viewing on Netflix. Need to say more about how good the game is?
